Meet the Nissan NV350 Office Pod – so far only a concept, but with real-world possibilities. The Office Pod is basically a minibus body kitted out as a mobile office. We know the shape here as the Nissan NV350 LCV cargo van and the Nissan NV350 minibus taxi, but the Office Pod is the second cousin of these workhorses. It is rather more closely related to the Nissan Caravan – not sold here – a compact camper van/RV configured for holidays and leisure.
On the 19th of February Group 1 Taxi launched their partnership with SANTACO with Marcel Swanepoel, the Managing Director of Group 1 Nissan, presenting the NV350 to leading members of the taxi industry, government and the press.

Do you remember the E20? Chances are if you ever took a taxi in the eighties you would have taken a trip in the E20, Nissan’s Minibus Taxi. The E20 was exceptionally popular due to its strength and value for money. The E20 sold around 71 000 units in South Africa between 1973 and 1996 before Nissan stopped selling them in SA.
