For almost a decade Nissan’s 370Z has been the thinking man’s sports car. Affordable (as far as sports cars go), safe, reliable, exciting to drive and with a youthful heart. But what does the 370Z offer the modern driver? Well, we’re happy to say that with its latest cosmetic nip and tuck, and a gearbox upgrade, the 370Z is once again as fresh and feisty as it was the day we first got to drive one in 2009.
Say Hello to the 2018 Nissan 370Z
This beast is a real beauty thanks to its original stylings, which are still VERY evident, but with a few cosmetic changes that bring the 370Z into 2018. Simply take a look at the 19-Inch Ray Alloy Rims, the Black Rear Diffuser, the Chrome Door Handles, and the NISMO designed smoked light lenses, and you’ll instantly see that with age has come incredible beauty. Our selection of 2018 Nissan 370Z Images below will show you exactly what we mean:
Power for the People
The latest 370Z model is still powered by the impressive naturally aspirated 3.7-litre V6 engine, which puts out an incredible 245kW of power and 363Nm of torque. This helps to ensure that the 370Z is as quick off the mark (5.3 and 5.6 seconds for the manual and auto respectively in 0-100km/h tests) as it ever was, but now it has been paired with a new clutch supplied by Excedy, a Japanese company that is renowned for its high-performance automotive parts. This clutch pack has made the 370Z even lighter under the foot than ever before, which makes it less taxing to drive in traffic and more responsive in open road situations.
A Better 370Z at the Same Price
At the time of going live on our Group 1 Nissan Blog the pricing of the new 2018 Nissan 370Z remained unchanged from the 2017 model, which makes it even more desirable for sports car aficionados looking for a nostalgic ride with a modern twist.
