For 2024, Nissan is set to introduce an exciting addition to the Z-car lineup: the high-performance Z NISMO variant.
The Nissan Z Nismo is powered by a 3.0-litre twin-turbo V-6 rated at approximately 314 kW and 521 Nm of torque, making it one of the most powerful Z models ever—an additional 15 kW and 46 Nm of torque compared to the Sport and Performance versions.
These higher outputs are all thanks to increased turbo boost and turbine speed and the GT-R Nismo-inspired smart, independent ignition spark timing. The Z Nismo redefines high-performance driving and aligns with the evolving trends toward cleaner and greener automotive solutions.
Fresh Upgrades For The 2024 Nissan Z NISMO
This track-oriented model only comes with a nine-speed automatic transmission. Although it won’t be available with a manual transmission, the Z NISMO is a true powerhouse on wheels. While some enthusiasts may desire a manual transmission option, Nissan has it that you can’t shift faster than its refined 9AT transmission. However, they are leaving the door open for the possibility of a manual transmission in the future.

The Z Nismo takes it a step further by incorporating a reinforced chassis, fine-tuned suspension, enhanced steering (including a Sport+ drive mode), upgraded brakes, and broader Dunlop tires. These meticulous enhancements collectively elevate the car’s performance capabilities, ensuring it’s ready to deliver an exceptional driving experience like no other.
With its retro-modern exterior styling, the sporty ride boasts a purposeful aerodynamic package that not only enhances its appearance but also contributes to substantial downforce and significantly improved cooling performance when put to the test on the track.
Every aspect, from the driver-centric cockpit to aerodynamics, chassis and engine, is designed to make this car sharper than the original Z.
