Renowned publication, Popular Mechanics, recently revealed its “10 Favourite Cars of the Year” in its first ever Auto Excellence Awards. Making it onto the list was the all-new Nissan Pathfinder, which took the title of Most Versatile Player.
According to the magazine the Pathfinder ticks all the requirement boxes of today’s drivers, who want a vehicle that will be able to “haul passengers like a minivan, tow like an SUV, and deliver fuel economy of a smaller passenger car.”
Besides its EZ Flex seating system and class-leading passenger volume that create space for up to 7 occupants, its towing capabilities and its best-in-class fuel economy figures, the new Pathfinder is also big on innovation. Exclusive features that owners can look forward to include must-haves like Bluetooth functionality and a rear-seat DVD entertainment system as well as advanced technologies like a 360-degree Around View Monitor and Nissan’s Easy Fill Tyre Alert System.
“The new Pathfinder carries on the tradition of the previous generations of adventure-ready Pathfinders that have come before – offering a new level of family enjoyment and engagement that is just right for today’s real-world, everyday uses,” said Vice President and General Manager of the Nissan brand in North America, Al Castignetti.
