Nissan South Africa has announced a new brand ambassador for the Nissan Patrol SUV. Eben Delport, one of the countries most well-known safari tour operators, has in fact already taken delivery of his brand new petrol driven Nissan Patrol 4.8 litre 4×4 GRX. This amazing safari bakkie was fully accessorised to meet the needs and demands that trips into the Namib Desert and other areas of Southern Africa, including Angola.
Working through Uri Adventures in neighbouring Namibia, Delport says the Nissan Patrol is always his vehicle of choice when tackling the African bushveld. He further went on to add that:
“The Patrol offers everything I need from a 4×4 – all the technical and mechanical ability to traverse dunes, swamps and salt pans, as well as an incredible towing capacity of 3,500kg. The Nissan Patrol used by Eben Delport is fitted with a Safari Pack and includes a replacement front bumper, all-terrain tyres, a snorkel, specialised seat covers and two fuel tanks
