Nissan Qashqai Rated ‘Most Reliable’ Car in 2023
In today’s economic climate, reliability and affordability are top of the list of needs for most consumers, and that is exactly what the 3rd-generation Nissan Qashqai offers, according to experts who rated the car ‘most reliable’ along with 50 000 consumers.
Expert testers, part of Research & Development at Nissan Technical Centre in Cranfield, put the new Nissan through a host of challenging tests, which included a climatic four-poster vibration rig that simulates three years of driving in just five weeks; extreme heat and cold weather testing; and the simulation of a lifetime of use. Following this, the Nissan Qashqai received a five-star reliability rating, with the testers praising the car’s practicality, dependability and family appeal.
Consumers Agree with the Experts
The experts were not the only ones to conclude that the Nissan Qashqai came out tops. The car was voted as the UK’s most reliable by 50,000 consumers, following an annual reliability survey conducted by respected consumer affairs organisation, Which?.
“Nissan’s efforts with the all-new Qashqai have seen it crowned our most reliable car for 2023, a fantastic achievement for what is one of the more affordable cars in the sector,” said a Which?representative.
Andrew Humberstone, managing director of Nissan Motor (GB) Ltd, said: “Reliability is often the number-one quality that people look for when purchasing any of our vehicles. To have an endorsement in this area from an independent and rigorous organisation such as Which? – not to mention 50 000 consumers – is a welcome pat on the back for everyone at Nissan who works to ensure the dependability of every car we supply.”
2022’s Best Selling Car
Clearly consumers are also voting for the car with their hard-earned cash, as Nissan’s Qashqai was the first British-built vehicle to top the UK’s annual best-selling car rankings for 24 years in 2022.
Humberstone described the Qashqai’s UK best-seller status as “a landmark moment for a landmark car”, adding: “It’s great to see how the latest generation Qashqai has struck a chord with car buyers”.
Safety Features Worth Noting
The Nissan Qashqai is not only reliable and affordable but one of its biggest selling points is its safety technology. This includes Predictive Front Collision Warning that detects sudden slowing down and the driver then gets an audible and visual warning to slow down.
In addition, a Lane Keeping Aid gently keeps the car between the white lines and will break in an emergency.
Finally, Nissan’s ProPILOT autonomous drive technology executes precise steering, allowing the car to perform naturally, but will remind you with a loud beep if it feels your hands have been off the steering wheel for too long.
Seems the Nissan Qashqai is the car of 2023!
