No, the entire Nissan NP300 range comes standard with a 5-speed manual transmission. It must be noted however that the 4×4 versions of the NP300 come with a Limited Slip Diff Lock.

The 2.4 litre petrol engine provides 105kW of power at 5600rpm and 205NM of torque at 3600rpm with a compression ratio of 9.2:1. The 2.5 Diesel engine provides 98kW of power at 3600rpm and 304NM of torque at 2000rpm with a compression ratio of 16.5:1.

That all depends on the model you are opting for – as there are both single and double cab options available in the NP300 range. The single cab can comfortably seat 2 occupants, namely the passenger and driver, while the double cab can seat up to 5 people, thanks to an additional 3 seating positions situated behind the front seating arrangement.

When purchasing a New NP300 you’ll be able to pick from a choice of 7 vehicle colours: Arctic White, Bright Silver, Thermal Gold, Techno Grey, Claret Red, Starling Blue, Solid Red and Infinite Black.

The tyres on all of the New NP300 Bakkies are model dependent, as are the rim sizes. The wheel size options are as follows: 195 R14, 195 R15, 215 R15, 245/70 R16 and 215/70 R15. This all depends on the load and surface you are driving on but for general everyday use, you can use 2.4 BAR / 35 PSI as the tyre pressure. Please note, however, that there will be a tyre pressure indicator sticker within the doorframe of your NP300. Please refer to it before putting air into your tyres.

Thanks to the fact that there are numerous model variants – there are varying Load Capacities (GVM – Tare) within the NP300 range. These vary between 995 kgs for the 2.4 HI-RIDER 4×4 Model and 1359 kgs for the workhorse 2.0 BASE Model.

There will always be minimal mileage on a New Nissan NP300 Hardbody! In fact, only Demo or Used models should have any reasonable amount of mileage at all. The mileage you do find on a new Nissan will be there only from the moving of the vehicle from the manufacturing plant to the vehicle transport system (be it vehicle transport trucks or vehicle transport boats – or both) which get the vehicles safely to the Nissan showrooms across the globe.
