How Does The New Magnite EZ Shift Auto Differ?
The already popular SUV, the Nissan Magnite, just became even more appealing with the launch of the Nissan Magnite EZ-Shift Auto. Previously only available in manual and CVT options, the addition of an automatic transmission will make city driving even easier.
Probably the most affordable AMT across the SUV, sedan and hatchback segments, the Nissan Magnite EZ-Shift Auto offers incredible performance for less, but more features than ever before!
Here is how these new models differ from the other derivatives in the range.
Next-Level Performance
The Magnite EZ-Shift will be introduced as an automated transmission option with a 1.0-litre naturally aspirated engine. Its 5-speed EZ Shift transmission bridges the gap between the manual and continuously variable transmission (CVT) variants of the Magnite. It has dual driving modes, so you can choose between automatic and manual.
What’s more, the Magnite EZ Shift offers clutchless driving and assesses driving conditions to automatically optimise gear shifts, which ensures ease of driving, especially in city traffic. The EZ Shift allows you to choose between different drive modes, namely Normal, Eco, and Sport.
In terms of fuel efficiency, its ARAI-certified mileage is up to 18.75kmpl with the non-turbo EZ-Shift. When it comes to power output, the non-turbo Magnite EZ Shift has a max power output of about 53 kW @ 6250rpm and a max torque of 96Nm @ 3500rpm.
Cutting-Edge Technology
The new Nissan Magnite EZ-Shift has all the latest advanced tech features you would need from a modern SUV. It comes with an 8-inch touchscreen, steering controls, push-button start, wireless charger, cruise control, ambient mood lighting as well as a 360-degree camera.
Safety
This compact SUV also fairs well in terms of safety, offering dual airbags, ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors, seat belt warning, speed alert system and Hill Start Assist (HSA).
For negotiating stop-and-go traffic, the Intelligent Creep function of the EZ Shift lets you drive the car in bumper-to-bumper traffic simply by releasing the brake pedal without having to use the accelerator.
Looks And Comfort
What’s new in terms of looks is that Nissan has added an all-new two-tone exterior across all variants, chrome door handles for the Acenta grade, and LED lights for the Acenta Plus model.
Although it is a CUV – it has adequate space for a family with five seats and ample boot space of 336 litres.
Climate control and rear AC vents will also keep everyone comfortable whether it’s on a trip to school or an out-of-town adventure.
With so many features at such an affordable price, the new Nissan Magnite EZ Shift is the perfect choice for families and urban commuters.
The Nissan Magnite EZ Shift will be available in variants, making it the only option in its segment to offer such a wide range of choices!
