The Nissan Magnite received a 4-star safety rating by the GNCAP
The recently-launched Nissan Magnite has performed well in its recent Global NCAP (GNCAP) crash test. It scored 11.85 points out of a maximum of 17, which earned it a four-star rating for occupant protection.
The results are based on a front offset crash test at 64 km/h. An offset test crashes only one side of the front of a vehicle, meaning a smaller part of the car has to manage the full crash energy. Although this test is much more destructive, it does represent a worst-case scenario a driver can encounter on the road.
