The Datsun 240Z
Before Datsun became the company it is today it was best known for building some of the world’s most iconic sports cars. The 240Z is possibly one of its most endearing designs and was built and sold between 1969 and 1978. To this day it is still one of the top-selling sports cars in the world, so when we heard that internet celebrity and car lover The Sketch Monkey has designed a modern version of the 240Z we were intrigued, to say the least.
Unfortunately This Is a Fan Project and it is highly doubtful that we will actually ever actually see a Modern 240Z on the road, but The Sketch Monkey (whose real name is Marouane) applied his master’s degree in automotive design and the skills he honed working with the design teams of Audi and Lamborghini to create a modernized take on the 240Z.
The 240Z might be a vehicle of the past, but the legacy of the Z-range of sports cars still lives on in the modern Nissan 370Z.
