For 2017 the Kinsey Report surveyed parts pricing of 69 vehicles in South Africa. The reason for the focus on the price of car parts is that it is the cost of these parts that directly affects your insurance premiums, as well as the repair costs of your vehicle. It is therefore a very accurate representation of the true cost of vehicle ownership, and this report is the only truly independent parts pricing benchmark in the local South African automotive industry.
