With its eyes cast firmly onto the young outdoor sports crowd, Nissan has revealed its fully remodeled X-Trail SUV that will be available in Japan come December the 16th.
The updated X-Trail features an impressive All Mode 4X4i four-wheel drive system and includes advanced never before seen chassis control technology. This combined with other technologies will help the X-Trail to improve on an already impressive fuel efficiency and will see the SUV attain a best-in-class fuel economy of 16.4 kilometers per liter.
Safer Than Ever Before
The new Nissan X-Trail now delivers even more enhanced safety and security features and includes a variety new technologies, including:
- Emergency Brake
- Emergency Assist for Pedal Misapplication
- LDW (Lane Departure Warning)
- Do-not-enter Sign Detection Systems
- BSW (Blind Spot Warning) and Driver Attention Alert are also offered as optional features
Driving Made Simple
Parking the Nissan X-Trail will also now be much easier, thanks to Nissan’s first Around View Monitor with Parking Assist. This eliminates the need to turn the steering wheel when parking in a garage or parallel parking.
The new Nissan X-Trail will be available in a two-row five-passenger model as well as a three-row seven-passenger model.
